Storyline: Murugan (Mohanlal) is an ordinary man who lives in a village near forest area. He makes a living by cutting bamboo from the forest. He has to fight with the wild animals, especially the wild tigers in the forest to earn a living. This makes him unique and sets apart from other people in the village. How Murugan becomes Pulimurugan? What are the intentions of Pulimurugan? Udaykrishna of Udaykrishna-Siby K Thomas team is writing a script individually for the first time for Mohanlal’s ‘Pulimurugan’ directed by Vysakh. Hanoi forest in Vietnam and Cambodia are the main locations. The locations also include Attappadi and Silent Valley. Ace action choreographer Peter Hein, who has worked for 'Enthiran', 'Sivaji', 'Anniyan', and 'I', is the stunt choreographer of 'Pulimurugan'. The film has many adventurous action scenes.
